BOSS/ WL-20

Getaria GWS-20のギター側につける送信機が壊れた。以前から弾いていると「首振り」をするようになり、弾いているとジャックから抜け落ちてしまい困っていた。開けてみると部品が壊れて、ジャックもグラグラする。今回は余計な可動部がない丈夫なワイヤレスにしようと思い、BOSS/ WL-20を購入した。2.3msの超低レイテンシーとケーブル・トーン・シミュレーションは是非試したい。

The transmitter attached to the guitar side of the Getaria GWS-20 broke. When I was playing it for a long time, I started to "swing", and when I was playing it, I started to fall out of Jack, which was a problem. When I opened it, the parts broke and Jack was wobbly. This time, I bought BOSS / WL-20 because I wanted to make it a durable wireless device with no extra moving parts. I wanted to try a 2.3ms ultra-low latency and cable tone simulation.

WL-20の欠点はアクティブピックアップのギター/ベースでは高周波ノイズが出てしまう事。その場合は延長ケーブルで送信機を楽器本体から離すという対処法が掲載されていたので、広島のKM GLOBAL WORKSさんからワイヤレス変換 延長 ケーブルを取り寄せてアクティブ回路搭載のベースとエレアコの2竿に装着してみたところ、無事に音が出た。音質劣化無しの素晴らしい立ち上がり！ 装着の対策としてはケーブルをシールドフックに通してケーブルタイでストラップに巻き付けたらスッキリした。これをつけないとWL-20だけでは音が出ない！

そして、指の怪我と手の痛みがだいぶ和らいできた・・・もう少し。

The drawback of the WL-20 is that high frequency noise is generated on the guitar / bass of the active pickup. In that case, a countermeasure to separate the transmitter from the instrument body with an extension cable was posted, so I ordered a wireless conversion extension cable from KM GLOBAL WORKS in Hiroshima and attached it to the base with active circuit and the two rods of the electric acoustic guitar. When I tried it, the sound came out safely. Great start-up without sound quality deterioration! As a countermeasure for mounting, I passed the cable through the shield hook and wrapped it around the strap with a cable tie, and it was refreshing. If you don't turn this on, you won't get any sound with the WL-20 alone!

And my finger injuries and hand pains have alleviated a lot ... a little more.

アクティブベースの音が出ない。

以前やっつけで修理した、9V電池クリップコネクタのコードをハンダ付けした部分が折れていた。クリップが壊れたのは9V電池をコネクタから外す時に堅くて中々外せないのが原因だったので、今回はコードを長めにとって電池を外にちゃんと出せるようにした。

There is no active bass sound.

The part where the cord of the 9V battery clip connector, which was repaired by hand before, was soldered was broken. The clip broke because the 9V battery was so stiff that I couldn't remove it from the connector, so this time I made the cord longer so that the battery could be pulled out properly.

BOSS WL-50

WL-20を使っていたが、挿し込むと電源が入るのでギター側もレシーバー側も一々抜かないと充電切れになってしまうのが煩わしい。挿しっぱなしでトランスミッターも充電できるWL-50を買った。残念だったのはケーブル・トーン・シミュレーションをOFFにすればアクティブ・ピックアップのベースも音が出ると思ったけど、以前の様にケーブルで延長しなければダメだった。電源は9V500mAに繋げば問題ない。

I used to use the WL-20, but when I plug it in, the power turns on, so it's annoying that the guitar and receiver must be unplugged one by one to run out of charge. I bought a WL-50 that can charge the transmitter without leaving it plugged in. Unfortunately, I thought that turning off the cable tone simulation would make the bass of the active pickup sound, but I had to extend it with a cable like before. There is no problem if the power supply is connected to 9V 500mA.

これで、WL-20は「他の機器」に挿せるレシーバーと、スペアのトランスミッターになった。

The WL-20 is now a receiver that can be plugged into "other equipment" and a spare transmitter.
